TIPS:

1.The injection screw should be constructed of materials that provide abalance of abrasion resistance and corrosion protection.Options for construction include 38 CrMoAlA nitrided steel with abrasion resistant coating such as bimetallic or Tunsten carbide on screw flights.

2.The screw flights should not be chrome plated since reinforced or filled composites will abrade or chip the plating in a short period.
